October was full of Autumn adventures and Halloween excitement in the Savannah Room! We explored the changing season through nature walks, collecting leaves and other objects from nature, and creating beautiful leaf prints. Our learning was brought to life with lots of sensory and hands-on activities, including making witches’ bubbly cauldrons inspired by our book Room on the Broom. Dressing up was a big highlight, with lots of smiles and fun throughout the month. We also celebrated Cian’s birthday, as well as SNA Eve’s birthday, which were both very special occasions for everyone. In Maths, we developed our skills through playful learning using playdough. The staff in the Savannah Room joined in the fun by dressing up as Men in Black, proudly coming 3rd in the dress-up competition! As always, we enjoyed plenty of sensory play, making October a busy, exciting, and memorable month!
